Please tell us about you, what you do, and about your business.

I offer copywriting services for purpose-driven business owners ready to grow their reach and revenue online with website copy and email sequences.I started my copywriting business in 2017 and have been writing professional and ethically persuasive copy ever since. I live in Perth, WA but my clients live around the country and the globe.

What's your own background? How did you start your brand?

I always loved to write but didn’t realise it was a viable career option until later in life. I mostly worked in administration across a range of industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Local Govt and construction. Somehow writing and editing always made it to my inbox.

At 44, I headed to Perth’s Curtin University to study Professional Writing and Publishing. When I graduated with distinction in 2016, I wasn’t 100% sure what to do next.

I discovered copywriting through another love of mine – podcasts. It sounded like an interesting career that aligned with my skill set, so I did a little more study and launched my copywriting business.

What are your 3 biggest goals when it comes to building your business and brand?

- Goal 1 is always to help my clients grow their reach and revenue with copywriting that connects with and converts their ideal clients.

- Goal 2 is to expand my services to include email marketing – especially for my website copy clients – so many brands build their website, create and share an opt-in but don’t welcome or nurture their audience

- Goal 3 is to offer website and email strategy as well as copywriting

What’s important to you about reaching these goals? What is your "why" building your brand?

When I start working with a new client, I become part of their team. I’m committed to their success. 

The services I offer help businesses show up online as the best version of themselves, so they can connect with their audience and solve a problem. That has the potential to be lifechanging – on a small scale or a large one. Either way, I love playing a part in achieving that outcome.

My why is to be better and do better – for myself and of course, for my clients.

Who are your inspirations?

Usually other copywriters! 

Where do you hang out most online? What Facebook groups are you in? 

Although I don’t love Facebook – I’m in a lot of FB communities for copywriting, branding, business building and personal development.

I also belong to a few Slack communities – more people are moving away from FB and I love that as there are no other distractions on Slack.

Which are some resources, books, articles or podcasts that have been useful to you, and would like to share with the readers?

I love listening to podcasts on a wide range of topics from true crime to copywriting, marketing and business. I’ve been a guest on Business Chat with Lisa Evans and The Impact Business Show. 

 My favourite books this year has been: 

- The Source by Dr Tara Swart – it helped me understand more about neuroplasticity – the ability for us to re-wire our brains.

- The Boy, the mole, the fox and the horse by Charlie Makesy – it’s a beautiful book that’s meant for children but there is so much inside for adults too

- The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks – it opened up my mind to the idea limiting beliefs and of how to overcome them and embrace your zone of genius

 I couldn’t live without Otter (for transcribing interviews), Zoom for client meetings and Canva for my social media posts.

If you can go back to 5 years ago, what advice would you give to yourself? 

Watch out for shiny new things that you don’t really need. Trust yourself to work things out (you can do it). You are where your attention is – so focus on your achievements and goals not the bumps in the road that we all have occasionally.

Being a femme entrepreneur building a soul-led brand is a beautiful journey. 

If I could speak to my past self right now I would tell her that her vision is right and she is the Queen of Luxury Branding.

I would tell her that she can trust herself, she can trust what she’s feeling inside and that she never has to follow any coaching programs she bought if it doesn’t feel aligned because her answers aren’t in there.

I would show her the steps that can actually get the clarity of her brand message, create a high-end brand and make the influence, income, and impact.

Is your brand Coach or Channel?

Dear Beautiful,

What I have found by working with my high-end clients is that deep down you do know you desire to be a luxe brand like Dior or Channel, you just are afraid to admit it. So you downgraded yourself to be a friendly expert like Coach or Micheal Kors...

Either because you are afraid you are not worthy of it or afraid of what other people will think if you claim it.

You worry that people won’t like you anymore once you put yourself out there as a prestige brand.

Here’s the truth: regardless of what you do, you will be judged. Humans judge. But you’ll be judged for being a high-end brand and for being a mass-market brand. Why not go for what you want? 

Another block is that your worry that money and being luxurious will change you and you’ll become greedy and evil.

Money magnifies the person you already are. So are you a kind, loving and generous person? If so, money will magnify that. You’ll be able to be even more kind, generous and loving.

Having money and spending it well doesn’t make you greedy, obstinate, shallow, selfish, indulgent, spoilt, reckless or any other words you typically apply to people you see with extreme wealth.

So what’s your true desire for your brand? A Coach or Channel? 

Why you are stopping yourself from allowing this in your business?

Being a luxury brand is embodying a higher frequency and high-level transformation yourself and then extend them to your clients. 

Here’s the truth about your high-end clients.

They don't want more information. They don’t want value-packed content.

They want a high-level transformation through unique experiences.

Think about it as flying economy versus flying first-class.

No matter where you are on the plane—in first-class with champagne, in coach squeezed into the middle seat, or in the pilot’s pit flying the plane—you will end up at the same destination at the same time as everyone else.

So why do some people splurge on a first-class ticket while others choose to go economy?

​Because of the first-class experience. They want first-class treatment. 

High-end clients are in search of solutions just like any client. But they’re also in search of an incredible, exciting and unique experience that not everyone has access to.

So how do you start embodying your luxury brand and high frequency?

It is the process that's empowering.

Do you know what’s No.1 reason people buy luxury things?

It’s for rewarding themselves.

Being grateful and asking for more doesn't make you greedy or materialist or selfish...⁠

I spent most of my life trying to be a “good girl”... I was so afraid of being seen as selfish that I would deny aspects of myself and overcompensate in situations. Trying to please others and sacrificing my boundaries...

The fear of being seen as greedy or materialist or selfish ruled my actions and my behaviors… You know, even the word “luxury” would trigger me...I would worry that people would judge me for being greedy or materialist. Even though I am so good at luxury branding, I would play small and not allow myself to be the “Queen of Luxury Branding”.

Until I realized that it is good and healthy to take care of yourself first, to honour your desires, to be grateful and ask for more.

Because when you are honouring your hearts’ desires, expanding and up-leveling, living in joy and abundance, you have more means and capacity to serve and support those around you, to give and create a bigger impact.

Now I totally own my desires and allow myself to receive. It not only brings me so much joy, but also allows me to use my talents to serve my clients and create luxury branding and websites for them. And it creates a ripple effect for more joy, love and abundance.

Beautiful , your desires are your GPS for your soul-led life and business. Your soul decided your human experience was necessary, and you incarnated. Your responsibility is to have that experience.

This is more than your desires. This is about following your heart and living your soul’s purpose.

So how do you start doing this? ⁠

You clear away your blocks to allowing yourself to receive.⁠ You expand your capacity to receive.⁠ You trust there’s more where that came from. And then you give yourself permission to be grateful... and ask for more. ⁠

Please tell us about you, what you do, and about your business

I am a Mindset Coach, Psychic Intuitive, and Master Healer. I help people heal, transform, and blast through the blocks holding them back so they can live the life they desire. Each session is tailored to the client so whatever it is they need, that's what we focus on. I love this type of free-flow session because we can go into messages that show up in the cards, I use my clairs to channel divine messages and do energy healing where we're called. This is the most popular session as well!

What's your own background? How did you start your brand?

At a young age, I was fascinated with all things spiritual and was doing readings for friends for as long as I can remember, and then in 2007, I studied different tools and modalities to help people bring harmony to the mind, body, and soul. I spent a few years reading out of a shop and doing psychic fairs. Then, in October of 2020, I was called to start my own brand so I took the leap.

What's going well right now? What are you grateful for?

Honestly, I've been going through major transformations in my own healing journey and there has been a lot of letting go and healing. Coming out of that phase now, there have been so many blessings that have come into my reality, and I am continuing to integrate and apply the lessons into my daily life. Overall, everything is going well right now. I'm leaning into my purpose and am set out to help as many people as I can. I am so grateful for my family and friends, my life of freedom, and this beautiful daily practice of leaning into my soul's purpose!

What are your 3 biggest goals when it comes to building your business and brand?

1. Helping and serving the people I'm meant to

2. Continued personal growth and being able to inspire others

3. Lean into expansion and cultivate new partnerships and connections

What's important to you about reaching these goals? What is your "why" building your brand?

This is so good! My why is my family and building a better future for the generations to come. I want to leave this earth feeling that I've made a positive difference and impact through my contributions. I want people to know that they are never alone and that there is support here for them if they're ready and open to receive the support that can help them live the life that they dream of. The more people are able to live and lean into their dreams, the more we raise global consciousness. This is why I am deeply committed to my brand and growth.

What are your key challenges today? If you have a magic wand, what would you like to change about your brand? How are you planning to tackle the challenges?

Haha! I think the number one challenge I have today really comes down to impatience, we human beings want things to be instantaneous and there's always so much to do but I'm clear on my goals and where I want my future to go so I'm taking the dedicated steps daily to reach and surpass those goals. Using the organizational tools I have to keep me on track has been a big help and I've been working on letting go of perfectionism. These have helped me a lot in terms of staying focused and not only getting results for myself and my business but also helping others in obtaining the results that they desire.

Who are your inspirations? Where do you hang out most online?

There are so many inspirations I have but I would say, Brene Brown, Oprah, and Amanda Frances.

I'm mostly on Instagram and not so much on FB anymore but am a part of several different healing groups.

How do you see yourself in the next 12 months?

I see myself building, maintaining, and expanding. I see myself as I see myself now with the work that has led me here... As the healthy, wealthy, and happy woman that I strive to be on a daily basis. I see myself having a network and tribe of amazing, beautiful souls that I call my soul fam.

If you could go back to 5 years ago, what advice would you give yourself?

Go easy, it doesn't have to be all hard! You don't have to be in survival mode - It gets to be easy so let the fuck go and surrender to the universe. The universe really does have your back. Everything is happening for you, not to you. Boundaries are necessary, it is not your responsibility to save everyone. You are the lighthouse, not the lifeboat.
